In the woodshop the important lessons to learn are:

Every thing has a home.  Put tools back in their home if you want to find them again.

Everyone is an inventor and a co-creator.  Mother nature provides the raw materials and beauty.

Inventions start in the head, many people can get the same invention at the same time.  Necessity is the mother of invention.

First comes the Air Castle.  It is in your head, no one can see it or really understand what it looks like.

Next the Paper Castle.  Put it on to paper, then others can start to understand, or not.  Details become critical.  The difference between one thing and another is the details.  It is still your creation.

Lastly the Real Castle.  Someone can help you make it but it is your invention.
