After School Programs |
We offer an after-school program for children
grades K-12.
Features:
- The After School at Spence's Farm is centered in the main farmhouse and has use of the extensive facilities
and grounds located at the farm.
- Each day after arrival the children settle in and eat the nutritious snack provided.
- We help them with their homework and after a period to work on indoor activities, we head outdoors to
gather eggs, feed the small animals, take a hike, play some outside activities and wish we never had
to go home.
- We pick up at the following elementary schools: Carrboro, Emerson Waldorf, Ephesus, Estes Hills, Frank Porter Graham,
Glenwood, McDougle, Morris Grove, Scroggs, Seawell, and Rashkis. The Middle Schools are: Phillips, Smith and Grey Culbreth
for after-school and enrichment classes. Orange County's New Hope students can ride the school bus to the farm.
